a letter to An Phoist

Dear Sir or Madam
On several occasions while driving from Newport to Castlebar, I have observed three An Phoist vehicles’ parked right up on the footpath on both sides of the road close to Conway’s Garage Newport road Castlebar.
(Reg: 03-D-35961-/07-D-66618-/02-D-33271).
The footpaths in question are being used by people confined to wheelchairs, and people pushing prams ,and the general public, to get by the said vehicles’ they have to go out onto the road, thus putting their lives in jeopardy and I’m sure you don’t have to be reminded about the rules and regulations regarding parking on the footpaths or causing an obstruction?
I realise there are other people parking in this manner, but I have been asked to voice this opinion by other mobility impaired Persons who live locally and are suffering because of lack of respect for all users of the footpaths.
As a government regulated business I would like to highlight this problem and would appreciate some consideration in this matter.
Looking forward to a response from you.

Yours sincerely
