I checked online and they tried to do that delivery today of the spokegds as agreed but he wasn't there so they left a card. Averil said for Tom to ring the DPD depot and he can sort out himself-we've done all we can at this stage. So if you want to pass message to Tom number is in Averils email below.

"the one for mayo has been carded alright which means the chap wasnt at home. i will give you the mayo depots phone number for you to pass on the him and he can make arrangements with the depot directly 0949289674 but yes he would at this point probably have to collect from depot or try and meet the driver"

Letter of Complaint

I wish to make an official complaint about the customer service at the Heuston train station in Dublin and the train service from

Westport to Dublin. I find the service hard and sometimes inadequate for people with reduced mobility and have complained about

this before and was told that it would be dealt with.

The customer service staff told my PA to push me down and into the train on the 23/04/12 at 6.30 train from Dublin to Westport.

When I objected for her to do it, he angrily pushed me into the train. If the door opposite was open, I would have been pushed across it.

On the 11/05/12, the 7.15 am train servicing Westport to Dublin, one of the wheelchair spaces was taken over by the train canteen

table and passengers buggy was stationed on the space. See attached photograph.

One of the staff at the customer service desk at Heuston station was very aggressive to me and my PA when we went to ask for

someone to help me into the train. He didn't even want to listen to us but only said there is only one staff available and walked

away from us. I felt really bad because I wasn't shown any form of respect or courtesy by the customer service officer.

His actions were totally unacceptable and I believe that issues like this should be dealt appropriately.

I had a problem getting out from the train at Heuston train station even though I was advised that there will be someone to put out the ramp. Finally, a fellow came to help out on his own not really his duty to do so. I travelled at 7.15 am from Westport to Dublin that morning.

A passenger also occupied the wheelchair table and was very reluctant to move. He rather wasted some minutes before he finally

stood up after much talking and explanations.

Yours sincerely,

Hello Tom,

There seemed to have been some clitch with my e-mails late last week,I've just seen this e-mail now.I just want to confirm with you that your mattress is now fixed[Mary O'Donnell your PHN is overseeing this] ?

I just want to clarify from your e-mail below when you say the motor for the bed isn't working do you mean the mattress or do Mary and I need to speak to Mary about placing a request for your bed to be repaired as well.

Luke Conway has the e-mails now that I sent yesterday including the photos ,thank you.I am now awaiting a quote from him.I'll let you know as soon as I have it so we can agree it before I order it.

Please would you let me know when you've seen Peter at Royal Masterpeace and what has been agreed.

Thank you,

Regards,

Lynne

Hello Tom,

I have checked with Luke Conway from LC Seating and although he does not generally stock Quickie chairs he can source one for us.I have here the specification from 2004 for the chair you are currently sitting. As a last measure before I order it I would like to verify with you that all the details in the specification still meet your needs and approval. The best way for me to do that would be to visit you with the specification and go through it together point by point. Then I would be in a position to order it immediately. If you would be agreeable to this I could visit you at approx 2.45 on Tuesd 29th May.Please let me know if this is suitable for you.

Regarding your overbed lifting pole ,following my visit to you on 13-2-12 I had discussions with the engineer ,Peter at Royal Masterpeace re: constructing another lifting pole as per our discussion on the 13th.He had a concern re: the stability of the design and made a suggestion.I wrote to you regarding this on 15-3-12 and asked you to let me know if you were in agreement for me to go ahead with his suggestion but I didn't get any reply from you to date, hence I didn't order it.If you are in agreement with my visiting you on 29th May we can discuss my letter of 15/3 and make a decision,I can then order the lifting pole immediately.

Best regards,

Lynne Horan OT

Hello Lynne

Of course I want another Quickie as agreed the last time I spoke to you here in the house when we decided that the one we got from Luke Conway was not accessible for me.

As for the overbed lifting pole I have never spoke to anyone in Royal Masterpeace.

Hello Tom,

Apologies for not contacting you for sometime.I've been covering an early retirement post up in Belmullet and have been in my own area very little.

How are you keeping? The last time we communicated you were going to speak directly with the engineer from Royal Masterpeace to see if he was able to agree with you the overbed lifting pole which you felt to be most suitable.I haven't heard anything from them or yourself since.I was wondering what was the outcome of your discussions.

Also the last time I visited you ,you felt that possibly the best solution to your seating needs now may be a new duplicate wheelchair ie another Quickie RXS.Please let me know if you wish me to proceed with this.

The last time we spoke you had problems with your computer so I'm printing this off and sending it to you in the post as well to ensure you receive it.

Kind regards,

Lynne Horan
