Car Park:

· More signs for parking bays. 220mm from ground level.

· EU badge must be displayed at all time.

· Length of bay to get access for boot box at back.

· Voice activation in the car park.

· Car park call for assistance to be more obvious.

· Signage to show where are the parking bays for persons with reduced mobility.

· Sign for pedestrian walkways - green for paint on walkways

· Gully in the walkways to be removed

· Lighting at same level.

· Mark the kerbs with yellow paint.

· No parking at the crossing points

· Mark the glass on smoking shelter to show where the glass area is

· Signage to show where disabled toilet is

· Proper blue sign and grab handle to be fitted on door

Main Concourse:

Mens Toilets

o Not enough room for wheelchairs – toilet is too far out from wall.

o Doors to open out instead of in with grab handle

o 1500 x 2000 minimum dimensions for cubicle

o either side transfer to be checked out

o grab rail

o taps as close as possible to toilet

o no mirrorss in disabled toilet

o 43Âșc for temp of water

o Panic string should be in front and should be to the ground.

o Baby changing area dimensions must be taken from overall dimensions

o Spring is too heavy on external door and must have pull handle

o Vacant/ engaged sign

Ladies Toilets

o move sanitary machine to lower level

o Full length mirror

o Taps to be provided closer to the toilet

o toilets too far out from the wall

o cannot go in and use toilet without closing door.

Main concourse

· Car park machines ok for wheelchairs

· Phones – one should be lower

· Drop down shelf for all car hire desks

· Drop down at security office

· Low Bar at edge of bar in Dananns could be hazard

· Dropdown at bar

· Change of level marked at edge of bar

· Stands are in the way in the shop

· Basic fittings ok in the shop and all parts of the shop accessible. Stands just block view

· Change of level to be marked in the shop

· Barrier at base of phones

· Turn down the rail on the stairs

· Sign on information desk for drop down part

· rail in the lift to be continuous all around

· Standard size of button in the lift

· Ryanair desk – no drop down panel accessible

· Bins attached to wall rather than loose

· Sharp corners on the stands in the shop

· Font size 18 for legible signage

Departures

· Low level phones (Eircom) are fine in departures

· lights reflecting from machines in recreation area in departures

· mirrors with lights can cause difficulty for visually impaired

Disabled toilet in departures

o no emergency cord

o Grab handle on inside of door

o Two hooks on back of door ok

o Mirror to be provided

o Kick panels on all doors

o Identification of toilets to be improved

· Would prefer ambulift used to transport as well as to lift. Clamps on the floor of ambulift and seat belt,

Arrivals

· fire bottles must be accessible for all

· arm rests that move to be provided on some seats.

· Arrivals Hall Toilets

o tap and loose rail

o toilet 450 from wall

o move back in the sink

o move the hand drier

o move the hand rail back

o water tested

o hook at higher level require on back of door

Stairs area to restaurant

o changes in levels at 8inches out from lower step

o 45-50mm circumference for hand rail on stairs

o small hand rail to be provided for child 750mm

o Push / Pull on the doors and kick panels where not provided

o Shelf at pool tables to be moved as at wrong height for wheelchair user

o Glass to be marked on stairway

Upstairs:

· Toilets

o disabled toilet in gents is accessible

o Disabled toilet in ladies is not accessible

o No sign on gents to say disabled toilet

o Move toilet to wall

o Reflections of lights important for visually impaired

o 3 different types of lighting in restaurant- lighting should be consistent

· Trays on spring to come up to wheelchair level
