CAR PARK
Provide designated parking bays as close as possible to side entrance with a sign identifying the bays. 2200mm from ground level (sign blue background, white text)
Provide a two way mirror for traffic leaving and entering the park
Gulliers needs attention
Provide a level surface through the cobble stones
Provide a canopy not less than 2200mm above ground level at the ATM Machine
Self-service banking – provide a drop down shelf
Provide a drop down shelf for people with reduced mobility to do their transactions and provide loop insulation with appropriate signs that can be seen when you come in the door
Lift – the lift should have a half way mirror opposite the entry door and rails right around at a high of 900mm from floor level.
Controls should be 500mm from internal corners with visual and tactile induction
Wheelchair toilet upstairs – should have the following
1. Automatic door
2. Two hooks
3. Sink as close as possible to the toilet for washing hands
4. Provide a panic cord on the transfer side approximately 12inches from floor level
5. Provide a sensor bin
6. Identify all the rails (blue preferably)
7. All columns should be identified
Glass upstairs needs to be blackened out
Direction signs for people progressing further into the building to be supported by tactile information such as raised print map, Braille information.
