Way finding is a major problem in the hotel
The lift should be defrosted half way
The toilet for disabled people should be properly signed to be identified
Move panic cord to the transfer side
Provide sensor bin for the toilet
Another drop down rail by the side of the toilet with hook to hold the toilet tissue
Move the soap dispenser inwards
Provide two hooks behind the door, kick panels
Get manual shower chair
Plenty of light coming in – glare on the floor, defrost the glass halfway
Wheelchair accessible rooms
Ensure 12inches clearance under the bed for wheelchair pedals and hoist Provide vibrator for alarm for deaf/disabled people to alert for danger or panic button instead of a phone Wheelchair rooms should have the disabled logo The hallway should be darken out a bit for the visually impaired
Toilet in Room
Toilet not far out enough Move position of the panic cord to the transfer side Provide sensor bin Provide grab rails in the shower Kick panels on the door
Car Park
There should be signs for designated parking bays T
The parking bays should be as close as possible to the lift
Reception
There should be loop insulation Provide drop down shelf
