CELEBRATING
International Day of Persons with Disabilities, 2012.
Mayo County Council Arts Service has been leading, supporting and developing Arts and Disability programmes throughout the county and it initiated a support scheme through International Day of Persons with Disabilities three years ago. This provides support for arts projects/events in Mayo, designed to provide a quality arts experience for people with disabilities in their own locality.
In celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2012, there will be projects leading to events in Ballinrobe, Belmullet, Castlebar and
In Áras Inis Gluaire, Belmullet, Peter Crann is facilitating a series of music and movement workshops with the Western Care Association. In the Custom House Studios,
All of these wonderful projects will culminate with exhibitions/ performances and events on December 3rd. Details are available from the individual venues/ locations/ participating groups.
