My Visit To Jackie Clarke Library In Ballina
I took a trip to Ballina to visit Jackie Clarke Libary at Pearse Street.
The following are my observations.
Positive
· It is accessible with the lift.
· Has lovely automatic doors.
· There is a good signage around the building.
· Fabulous collections and information
· Great computerized display of arts and information.
· very informative on Irish culture and history.
· excellent centre for tourist and education centre.
· very warm building.
· well planned and captivating pictures, history books, newspapers, letters and others.
Negative
· The garden is not accessible to wheelchair users.
· Narrow doors, very hard to maneuver.
· Improper lighting in some rooms.
· No audio voice for one of the videos on display.
· Toilet has no proper hand soap dispenser.
· The history room about Jackie Clarke needs a noise proof door.
· Poles at the entrance door not properly situated.
· walls needs to be identified with coloured strips.
